All of the beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and turkey (except for kosher turkey) sold in our Meat department is Animal Welfare Certified, giving you the peace of mind that you're making a responsible choice.

What Makes Our Meat Department Different?

Farm-to-Store Traceability: We utilize a comprehensive traceability system that tracks each animal from its birth on the farm or ranch, all the way to our store shelves. This level of transparency allows us to provide our customers with detailed information about the journey their meat has taken.

No Antibiotics, Ever: If an animal ever requires antibiotic treatment, the meat from that animal will not be sold in our Meat department. We maintain a strict policy against the use of antibiotics in the animals we source.

No Added Growth Hormones: You won't find any added hormones in our Meat department, whether they are administered through feed, injections, or any other method. We believe in allowing animals to grow naturally, without the use of artificial growth-promoting substances.

No Animal By-Products in Feed: We ensure that the animals we source are not fed any animal by-products, such as feather meal or rendered fat, in their diet. This is an important aspect of our commitment to ethical and responsible animal husbandry.
